Michael T. Drake

Mike has over 30 years of experience in Industrial Cleaning, Environmental Decontamination, Specialized Painting Services and Production Support activities for the Automobile Assembly Plant sector. This experience has provided him with a deep and wide-ranging knowledge of the industry, and experience that MIDA's clients and employees greatly benefit from. Mike is responsible for designing and implementing MIDA's strategic plan, developing services suited to MIDA's clients, overseeing the company's marketing strategy, and ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of service possible.

Mike is a native of Los Angeles, California where he attended Birmingham High School and earned a Varsity Letter playing Basketball. He then attended San Diego State College and earned an A.B. degree in Political Science. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Following graduation in 1968, he entered the Naval Flight Program earning his Navy Wings in Corpus Christi, Texas and then joining Air Anti-Submarine Squadron 29 stationed at N.A.S. North Island, California, a carrier-based squadron whose mission was to protect the Carrier Task force from submarine invasion. Mike obtained the rank of Lieutenant, loggin over 1200 flight hours and over 100 day and nighttime carrier landings.

Before founding MIDA, Mike served as the Los Angeles Executive Vice President for International Cleaning Contractors, a large janitorial service company and CCC Environmental Services Inc., a large environmental cleaning company. Mike's vision for MIDA was to establish a company small enough to create a family environment for all the employees, but large enough to fulfill the scope of services required for the Auto Assembly sector.
