A home in Irvine CA was tested for Mold and mycotoxin which is a byproduct of mold which causes respiratory problems, such as wheezing and difficulty breathing. Other symptoms include skin irritation, headaches, fatigue, and nausea which can also be caused by Trichothecene which is a group of toxins produced by multiple genera of fungi. This Toxic Secondary Metabolite produced by fungi can cause disease and death in both Humans and animals. As a result of the above, Mida Industries, Inc. was called upon to remediate the home and create a healthy living for the homeowner.

This project had several unique challenges and the results were outstanding across the board. Memorable, colorful and exciting.
After reading and understanding the lab report and following the recommendation, Mida Industries Inc, scheduled a free assessment and consultation with the homeowner. During this assessment our Project manager crawled both the attic and crawlspace to find the areas infested with ware damage and mold growth. To remediate and transform the house into a healthy living space, it meant for the homeowners to relocate.
After the above, we set up our proper containment with engineering control with negative air pressure to avoid cross contamination and seal off none work areas and duct systems with 6 mil plastic. Our remediation process started by removing all old insulation, debris and dust from both areas, bags, and transport for proper disposal. This followed by an abrasive sanding of the structure to remove all water damage and lumber mold from the areas, followed by a thoroughly Hepa vacuuming the entire area to make it dust free. Following the above a visual inspection was conducted for quality check as well as for hidden mold by our project manager. Once this was satisfying and acceptable, the entire structure was treated with disinfectant and fogging using our signature US Enzyme was completed. Following our work, a third-party post inspection was completed which rendered the result acceptable and a happy client.
As a future mold protective measures, the structure was encapsulated using Sentinel 24/7 0 V.O.C Mold Protective coating.
